I've worked on this for so many years so I really appreciate this award. It's why I did it. |
Well, I mean, not for this. I didn't say, |
'God, I've got to win a FilmFocus Award - I know! I'll make a movie of Firefly!' |
But my only motivation was that people would get it and get a kick out of it. |

And this means a lot because there were a lot of movies I really liked this year. Unlike a lot of previous years. |
But no! Serenity beats them all! Sweet! |
